A dated list of the changes we make to this website, newest first and grouped by month.
October 2026
Your choice on cookies and outside content
The site now asks before it uses Google Analytics or shows Google Maps and Google reviews, which come from other companies. Nothing from them loads unless you accept, and you can change your mind any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. A new Privacy and cookies page explains what is collected.
Review prompt appears after 10 seconds, and stays away for two weeks
The Google review reminder now counts 10 seconds from the start of your visit, so moving between pages no longer restarts the clock. If you close the reminder, it will not come back for 14 days.
Easier browsing on phones
The header now fits on one row on phones, and the menu opens as a simple vertical list. We moved the homepage numbers below the course cards, removed a repeated “25+ years” claim and tightened spacing so pages need less scrolling.
Site rebuilt from shared parts, with the main address updated
Every page now takes its header, footer and contact details from one shared source, so a change appears everywhere at once. The main address now matches our Google Business Profile: 96/A, Sivan Padai Street, with a new Maps pin.
Automatic publishing on Cloudflare
The website is now set up to publish itself from its source code on Cloudflare. Approved changes go live without manual file uploads.
New Google Business Profile links and a cleaner footer
Review and Maps links now point to our updated Google Business Profile. In the footer, each full address links to directions, and the phone number sits under “Reach us”.
Faster pages and clearer text
Event photos now load in smaller sizes that suit your screen, and the Google reviews widget loads only on the homepage. We also darkened the orange text so it is easier to read.
Page titles and headings visible to search engines
The Achievements and Blog pages used to set their titles and headings after loading. They are now part of the page itself, so search engines and visitors see the same text.
Courses menu
Abacus and Chess classes now sit together under a Courses menu in the header. On phones they appear as an indented list inside the main menu.
Google reviews on the site
Parents can now read Google reviews on the homepage and reach the review form from the menu, footer and contact page. A small, dismissible reminder also invites visitors to leave a review.
All three locations in the footer, plus a language switch
The footer lists all three class locations with directions links. An EN / தமிழ் switch in every header takes you to the matching page where a Tamil translation exists.
Confirmed academy details added across the site
Course pages, FAQs and blog posts now show confirmed age range, class mode, frequency and level duration. We also added the class locations with days and directions, founder profiles on the About page, and a rewritten Franchise page.
Tamil pages for Abacus and Chess classes
Abacus and Chess class pages are now available in Tamil, so families can read about the courses in their own language.
Elite Abacus Academy website launched
The first version of the website went online with the academy’s courses, student photos and contact details. A richer courses section followed the same day.
